Spec-Retailer is a full featured, IBM approved “ready
for retail” point of sale system designed specifically
for specialty retailers. And unlike most POS system
vendors selling other companies’ programs, Integrated
Data developed Spec-Retailer. Because of this,
Spec-Retailer can be customized to your exact
requirements. Spec-Retailer will do business your way;
you won’t have to change your business to use
Spec-Retailer. Plus, you are never subject to expensive
version upgrades or maintenance fees.
Spec-Retailer running on IBM SurePOS register systems
provides the flexibility of using the touch screen or
the programmable keyboard for all functions. The
straight forward, “keep it simple” software design
will have your employees efficiently using the system
just minutes after installation.
With Spec-Retailer you can scan your inventory with the
manufacturer’s UPC’s or, if you prefer, you can
create your own inventory numbers and produce scannable
barcodes for them. Spec-Retailer supports discounts and
markdowns by percentage and the unique “package”
function allow you to scan a group of items and sell
them at a package price.
Spec-Retailer allows you to collect and recall customer
information right at the point of sale and, for those
pesky items that just won’t scan, an integrated
inventory search lets you locate any item in your
inventory in seconds.
